Am I Going to Heaven?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:3-7 is a passage from the Bible where Jesus tells Nicodemus that to see the kingdom of God, a person must be "born again". He explains that this is a spiritual rebirth, a new life from the Spirit, contrasting it with the physical life of the flesh. He emphasizes that this is not a difficult concept, but one that is spiritually necessary and a completely new start, not just an improvement on an old one.
It involves recognizing your need for God! Realizing you need forgiveness and grace. Acknowledging you cannot earn heaven by your own efforts. It means trusting Jesus Christ for salvation. It results in a changed life: *A new heart or new desires *A growing desire to follow God. *A transformed outlook. *A personal relationship with Jesus.
Simple Prayer to Accept Jesus “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe You died on the cross and rose again to save me. I receive You as my Savior and ask You to be the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
